About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Toyotetsu MidAmerica LLC is responsible for supporting HR and policy administration within a large automotive manufacturing facility. This role involves assisting team members and management with HR-related issues, recruitment, training, and performance management, while ensuring effective team member relations in a first-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
• Assist Team Members, Team Leaders, and Group Leaders in solving work-related problems.
• Assist in recruitment efforts for salaried and hourly team members.
• Coordinate team member relations and coach supervisory and management groups for effective team member relations.
• Administer various HR programs and perform HR system administration and performance management processes.
• Conduct internal investigations.
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
• Assist with company activities.
• Monitor progress of new Team Members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business or Human Resources.
• 3-5+ years of HR experience, with relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Paycom software.
• Strong leadership skills in team development and influence.
