About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at TreeHouse Foods is responsible for managing HR administrative activities, full cycle recruiting, onboarding, and supporting employee relations for approximately 700 employees in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring effective HR operations and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present new-hire orientations, including completion of new-hire paperwork and E-Verify I-9s.
• Manage the recruiting efforts of hourly employees, including weekly postings, interview scheduling, background checks, and drug testing.
• Administer daily data entry, extraction, and reporting in Workday HRIS.
• Maintain employee files and records, including personnel, disciplinary, and confidential documents.
• Assist in planning and executing employee relations activities, including community relations and problem resolution.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Proficient in typing on a personal PC and viewing a PC monitor.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
