About the position

The Human Resources Specialist position in Region 10, Mission Support Division, Human Resources Branch, involves providing guidance and assistance in workforce planning, employee development, and labor relations. The role requires regular physical presence at designated duty stations, with occasional travel and eligibility for telework after meeting certain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to organizations in workforce planning, recruitment, employee development, and labor relations.
• Research and analyze human resources issues and provide recommendations to management for resolution.
• Serve as a liaison between management and the Service Center (SCC).
• Apply analytical skills and expertise to improve human resources services.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• For GS-07 level: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05 or 1 full year of graduate level education.
• For GS-09 level: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 or a master's degree or 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education.

Nice-to-haves
