About the position

Puretec Industrial Water is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of our HR Information Systems, ensuring data integrity and maximizing user experiences. You will oversee various HR technologies, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, and RISK Management Systems, to leverage their full capabilities. Additionally, you will manage HR-related vendor portals and generate reports to provide necessary analyses for decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include candidate sourcing and selection, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a positive applicant experience. You will play a crucial role in delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience and managing 90-day reviews. Furthermore, you will assist in maintaining compliant HR files, coordinating training activities, and supporting payroll processes. As a culture champion, you will uphold Puretec's values and contribute to employee events and activities. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills across all HR disciplines and perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data integrity and maximize the utilization of HR systems for both administrative and user experiences.
  • Oversee HRIS, ATS, LMS, RISK Management System, Transportation Management Systems, and other relevant HR Technology.
  • Efficiently manage HR-related vendor portals (HSA, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.).
  • Generate reports and provide necessary analyses.
  • Identify, screen, and select candidates with the skills, experience, and competencies required for success at Puretec.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and influence leaders to effectively screen and select top candidates.
  • Uphold Puretec's culture, ensuring new hires reflect our values.
  • Ensure a positive experience for all applicants throughout the application and screening process.
  • Deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience, covering pre-hire, hiring/onboarding processes, and post-onboarding follow-up.
  • Manage and follow up on 90-day reviews, coordinating among managers, employees, and HR leadership.
  • Manage employee surveys, including annual Great Place to Work surveys.
  • Maintain compliant HR files in accordance with company retention policies.
  • Assist HR leadership in coordinating training and other learning activities.
  • Assist with payroll processes, including time and attendance, and fill in as backup for payroll.
  • Support employee events and activities.
  • Develop skills across all HR disciplines to support the team as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience with HRIS, LMS, RISK Management Systems, and Transportation Management Systems is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in using Outlook to set rules, create action items, and schedule appointments.
  • Proficient skills in MS Excel, including creating spreadsheets, manipulating data, using standard formulas, and creating basic pivot tables.
  • Enjoys generating reports and conducting analyses to support business decisions.
  • Highly comfortable learning and adopting new technology including the ability to facilitate employee learning and adoption.
  • Naturally curious and enjoys continuous learning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
