About the position

The Human Resources Specialist role at System One involves managing various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with OSHA standards. The position is essential for maintaining employee records, preparing compensation packages, and supporting community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create job requisitions and coordinate offers for new hires.
  • Conduct pre-employment activities and onboarding processes.
  • Facilitate orientation for new employees.
  • Generate payroll reports and manage HR documents related to job status changes.
  • Plan and facilitate training programs in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain documentation and assist with employee relations issues.
  • Compile and analyze monthly and annual HR statistics and prepare reports.
  • Assist the HR Manager with community initiatives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and related systems (Workday, ATS, ADP, eTime, PeopleSoft, ArcPlan, Aspen, or similar).
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exposure to OSHA reporting, regulations, and compliance.
