About the position

The Human Resources Specialist will oversee all aspects of the HR function, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role is crucial in shaping workplace culture, ensuring employee satisfaction, and supporting the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruiting processes including job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues related to workplace conflicts, performance, and interpersonal relations.
  • Implement and manage performance evaluation systems, including goal-setting and annual reviews.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
