About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Chrysalis is responsible for supporting the HR department in various functions including hiring, employee evaluations, training, and maintaining employee records. This role involves collaboration with the HR Associate Director and HR Director to enhance service delivery within the program.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire new employees
• Enter employee data into Paylocity
• Use Paylocity to ensure proper information is entered
• Manage employee corrective action
• Manage E-verify
• Ensure employees' training is completed
• Maintain employee records
• Manage employee benefits enrollment
• Oversee compliance with the policy and procedures manual
• Manage worker compensation insurance

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated supervisory skills
• Ability to prioritize work and complete documentation accurately
• Understanding and management of personnel issues
• Positive interaction with staff

• Good judgment and ability to handle crisis situations
