About the position

The People and Culture Specialist (Human Resources) at CohnReznick is responsible for creating an extraordinary employee experience by aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This hybrid role involves working closely with leadership teams, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and implementing various HR initiatives to enhance the employee experience across the Massachusetts offices.

Responsibilities

  • Create an extraordinary employee experience for team members by serving as a trusted business partner.
  • Establish a thorough understanding of the business and build relationships with client leadership teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to enhance the employee experience.
  • Provide end-to-end onboarding and offboarding support, including facilitating New Employee Orientation and conducting exit interviews.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive and implement recruiting strategies and participate in interviews.
  • Assist with maintaining and managing headcount, workforce, and office budgets for recruiting programs.
  • Administer the compensation program under guidance from the Total Rewards COE.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual performance review cycle and training for employees on the process.
  • Provide coaching and guidance regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to local wellbeing initiatives and coordinate activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field required.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with leadership and employees.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business trends and drive initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the professional services industry is preferred.
  • Ability to manage change and be flexible as required by the business.
