About the position

The Human Resources Operations Specialist at Sevita plays a crucial role in supporting the company's mission to positively impact the lives of individuals and families. This position involves managing operational projects, ensuring data integrity within HR systems, and facilitating the onboarding of acquired employees. The specialist will also engage in compliance audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage processes for mass pay changes, annual bonus payouts, and annual performance reviews.
  • Generate audits or system reviews to identify and correct data inaccuracies within the HCM system and Learning Management/Credentialing system.
  • Participate in acquisition due diligence and integration, assessing risks related to legal compliance and evaluating liability of potential acquisitions.
  • Lead the integration process of onboarding acquired employees and recommend approaches based on due diligence findings.
  • Assist with state agency or internal audits, analyze reports, and engage resources to enable compliance with requests.
  • Generate, maintain, and utilize reports and metrics to develop recommendations regarding systems or processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential areas of opportunity or risk related to employee engagement, compliance, HR quality improvement, and cost reduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related Human Resources, Audit, or Program/Project Management experience preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage resources in a matrix environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tracking.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and achieve results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks.
