About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at On Watch Global, Inc. is a full-time hybrid role focused on managing the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, as well as maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with employment standards. This position is integral to fostering a positive work environment and supporting the company's growth through effective human resources practices.

Responsibilities

• Leads the entire recruitment process end to end, from creating job postings and reviewing applications to scheduling interviews, conducting background and reference checks, and extending offers.
• Manages the onboarding program for new hires, ensuring a thorough and engaging introduction to the company and its culture.
• Manages the offboarding process, including processing paperwork for terminating employees, coordinating the collection of all company owned property, and gathering employee feedback.
• Manages employee personnel files, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and maintains a system of progressive discipline.
• Coordinates and tracks completion of required training programs for employees and Supervisors.
• Ensure compliance and best practices and employment standards in all human resources related areas of the company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 15 years prior work experience in Human Resources or related field
• Knowledge of employment law and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations
• Aptitude for critical incident handling
