About the position

The Human Resources Strategist, Insights & Analytics at Wawa is responsible for designing and delivering a world-class Total Rewards and Workforce brand through data analysis and reporting. This role focuses on providing actionable insights into workforce planning and organizational health, utilizing advanced analytics and visualizations to support decision-making across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver insightful, interactive reporting and dashboards for workforce planning.
  • Develop and report on key metrics through discovery and analysis.
  • Partner on the execution of reporting and dashboard strategies.
  • Use analytics to create insights-driven talent strategies.
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations for talent effectiveness improvements.
  • Translate complex data results into understandable formats for business stakeholders.
  • Create and run predictive and regression models on people data.
  • Support the operationalization of outcomes to drive business improvements.
  • Participate in JIRA team standups for reporting and analytics requests.
  • Help advance the People Analytics strategy towards predictive analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in human resources, I/O psychology, or a quantitative field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in data validation, analysis, and forecasting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR discipline or as an HR Generalist preferred.
  • Experience with Workday, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and BI tools.
  • Proficiency in R Studio, Python, and coding languages.
  • Strong analytical skills including modeling and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience conducting work sessions with diverse teams.
  • Understanding of advanced analytic techniques and concepts.
