The Human Resources Student Assistant position is designed for current students at OCCC who are looking to gain practical experience in the field of Human Resources. The student assistant will assist customers with their HR service needs, which may include answering phones, managing onboarding paperwork, and maintaining personnel records. The position requires a proactive approach to tasks, ensuring that all HR documentation is organized and up-to-date. Additionally, the student will be responsible for scanning and filing personnel records, which is crucial for maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HR policies. In this role, the student assistant will work closely with HR staff and may be asked to assist with special projects as needed. The assistant will also serve as a backup receptionist, which involves greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate HR personnel.
