About the position

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) at Thermo Fisher Scientific is an accelerated opportunity designed for graduate-level students to develop essential skills for a career in Human Resources. Participants will engage in multiple assignments over two years, gaining strategic insights across various HR functions while being exposed to core processes and leadership within the organization. The program includes formal development sessions, executive mentorship, and practical process improvement methodologies, preparing participants for impactful roles in HR.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in multiple assignments over two years to gain strategic direction in different facets of Human Resources.
  • Engage in formal development sessions and utilize Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Leadership Team on significant strategic projects.
  • Contribute to functional areas such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Total Rewards, and Employee Relations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.

Requirements

  • Graduate student completing a Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a similar field between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • 1+ years of work experience post-undergraduate degree, ideally in large, global organizations.
  • Experience in Life Sciences or STEM-related industries is a plus.
  • Demonstrated integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity in previous roles.
  • Ability to apply Key Performance Indicators for effective forecasting and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with high emotional intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in consultative approaches with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to influence colleagues and leaders in a matrixed environment.

Benefits

  • Hourly compensation between $28.00 - $31.00 based on location.
  • $5,000 relocation stipend for eligible candidates.
