About the position

The Human Resources Supervisor will oversee HR functions within a food manufacturing plant, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, and safety management. This role is critical in supporting a 24/7 operational environment and developing a young HR team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HR functions in a food manufacturing plant.
• Participate in employee investigations and EEOC claims.
• Recruit hourly and salary positions effectively.
• Train, mentor, and develop HR team members.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Collaborate with the safety manager on safety initiatives.
• Develop training plans for employees.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an HR Supervisor or HR Lead in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and unemployment issues.
• Strong leadership skills.
