About the position

As a Human Resources Supervisor at Famous Smoke Shop, you will oversee HR operations and administrative functions, ensuring a seamless and efficient work environment. Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment initiatives by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and supporting the evaluation process.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including handling documentation, conducting orientations, and facilitating smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
  • Ensure meticulous maintenance of employee records, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer benefits, including enrollments, adjustments, and addressing employee inquiries regarding benefit packages.
  • Manage safety records and facilitate safety committee activities, promoting a safe workplace.
  • Support employee relations by organizing events, addressing basic HR inquiries, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments for executives, department heads, and the HR team to optimize time management and workflow efficiency.
  • Handle all forms of correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive files, records, and documents related to HR operations and administration, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, covering logistical arrangements, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items for effective execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and department heads, assisting with presentations, reports, and other special assignments.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and proactive HR management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive HR and business-related information.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of HR and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR generalist functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
