About the position

At NorthBay Health, the Human Resources Support Specialist II provides administrative and technical support to one or more assigned areas of the Human Resource Department. This is an experienced position, and incumbents are expected to work independently and without close supervision in carrying out a variety of assigned duties, tasks, and projects across human resource specialty areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and learning and leadership. The HR specialist responsibilities include record keeping and filing; public reception and phone coverage, data entry and maintenance of spreadsheets, databases, specialized network-based and web-based HR and administrative applications, and NorthBay's HR/Payroll systems. As required, the specialist creates and runs a wide variety of standard and ad hoc HR Management and metrics reports. Additionally, the role involves preparing draft and final versions of correspondence, memos, reports, and analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and technical support to assigned areas of the Human Resource Department.
  • Work independently on various HR tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data entry and management of HR systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
