This program is specifically designed for students who are between their junior and senior years, serving as a pipeline for potential full-time employment. Interns will participate in a structured program aimed at enhancing their understanding of Cardinal Health and the healthcare industry while developing essential leadership skills. Successful completion of the internship may lead to an interview for full-time employment. Throughout the internship, participants will work closely with Cardinal Health professionals, business partners, customers, and vendors on impactful projects, in addition to their daily responsibilities. To foster leadership skills, each intern will also take part in an intern planning committee. At the conclusion of the summer, interns will present their work to business leaders, showcasing their contributions and learning experiences. The program emphasizes networking opportunities, allowing interns to learn from key business leaders through an “Executive Speaker Series” and engage with other professionals at various networking events. Cardinal Health is committed to maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment, ensuring that every employee feels welcomed, supported, and valued. Interns will have access to seven Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that cater to various interests and passions, enhancing engagement with the global customer base and workforce.
