About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the recruitment process for all open positions within Contemporary Management Concepts (CMC). This role involves screening applicants, conducting interviews, and coordinating pre-employment screenings. The specialist will also engage in networking and college recruiting initiatives, while ensuring effective communication with hiring managers and maintaining accurate job descriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the recruitment of all open positions within CMC
  • Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Schedule and conduct initial interviews
  • Schedule and communicate pre-employment screening, tests, and background checks
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
  • Handle administrative duties and recordkeeping
  • Work with HR manager and hiring managers to ensure job descriptions are accurate
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Work alongside other departments to create recruiting materials
  • Attend and represent job fairs as a CMC representative

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources/business or related field preferred
  • Must possess interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of technological recruitment tools
  • Understanding of recruiting concepts
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to plan and meet goals timely
  • Knowledge of interview techniques
