About the position

The Human Service Clinician role at Daymark Recovery Services involves providing a range of psychosocial evaluation, assessment, diagnostic, and counseling therapy services in a clinical environment. The position requires independent decision-making and focuses on delivering effective treatment to mental health consumers through individual, family, and group therapy in an outpatient setting. The clinician will also engage in case management and supportive services to ensure proper coordination of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical psychosocial assessment and treatment services to consumers with mental health problems.
• Conduct face-to-face clinical assessments within 7 days of request, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for reimbursement.
• Deliver evidence-based clinically effective treatment services.
• Consult with community stakeholders, law enforcement, and family members as necessary for effective service delivery.
• Coordinate transition of services with various stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete necessary paperwork for billing assessments, intakes, evaluations, and screenings.
• Meet a minimum productivity standard of 25 units billed.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Psychology, or a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensed eligible or provisionally licensed in their respective field.
• Consideration for employment given to applicants with master's degrees who are provisionally licensed or licensed eligible as clinical social workers, professional counselors, substance abuse counselors, and marriage and family counselors.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in providing first evaluations in the community for LCSW and LCAS staff.
• Experience in clinical settings with mental health consumers.
