About the position

The Human Services Operations Supervisor at Vista del Camino Social Service Center is responsible for overseeing the operations of social service programs, ensuring effective service delivery, and managing a team of employees. This role involves coordinating personnel activities, supporting employee development, and evaluating program effectiveness to enhance community engagement and support.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees and coordinates personnel-related activities including training and work schedules.
• Supports employee involvement in decision making and promotes positive employee attitudes.
• Prepares detailed reports on funding and program statistics.
• Establishes, reviews, and evaluates program policies, goals, and objectives.
• Assists in the development of grant applications for center services funding.
• Monitors professional services contracts with various agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Four years of work experience in social work, psychology, or counseling, with experience in coordinating social or behavioral health service programs.
• At least 6 months of lead or supervisory experience.
