About the position

The Human Services Program Analyst position at the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) involves working within the Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS) Program, specifically in the Office of Public Benefits Integrity (OPBI). The role focuses on investigating public assistance fraud and ensuring compliance with federal and state policies. The analyst will serve as a liaison for various stakeholders, manage correspondence related to compromises, and assist with administrative disqualification hearings. This position requires a strong understanding of public assistance programs and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as BR Compromise Specialist, acting as liaison for different Regions, other states, and federal agencies.
• Handle all correspondence, calls, and requests related to Compromises and issue Compromise Decision notices within required time frames.
• Assist with Treasury Offset Program (TOP) related phone calls, correspondences, and inquiries.
• Process all BR Administrative Disqualification Hearing (ADH) case information on the ESS Document Imaging system.
• Analyze, prepare, redact, and distribute required evidence to the respondent for Administrative Disqualification Hearings.
• Act as the backup to the BR Hearings team for Administrative Disqualification Hearings.
• Maintain all IT tickets related to onboarding of BR staff access and issues with systems.
• Perform special work assignments and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid state-issued Driver's License
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Experience with Smartsheet
• Experience with the Treasury Offset Program (TOP) as it relates to ESS
• Proficiency in the FLORIDA system and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
