Human Space Flight Systems Integration & Integration Lead - NASA Support Job Description Job Description Salary: Job Title: Human Space Flight Systems Integration & Integration Lead NASA Support Job Location : Remote Work (Travel may be required) Description PRT is seeking a Human Space Flight (HSF) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Lead for the Flight Dynamics Support Services III (FDSS-III) contract at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Spaceflight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, Maryland. FDSS-III supports NASA s Human Space Flight missions, including the International Space Station, SpaceX Dragon, and the Moon-to-Mars Program with Gateway, Artemis, the Human Landing System, and more! This position leads the day-to-day activities of the team by collaborating with Mission Managers (MM) and task management to execute systems engineering processes, implement standardization strategies, and provide staffing assignment to ensure mission readiness. The position ensures quality standards are maintained, processes are documented, and personnel are trained. Reports To Human Space Flight (HSF) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Project Manager Responsibilities Provides day-to-day oversight of a geographically dispersed team to ensure timelines, technical quality, and standards are met for deliverables, documents, and customer interaction Technical authority at the task level for all processes Facilitates communication and smooth operations between CSEs, customer and network element groups Provides high-level direction for support, projects, and training, working with EL to set team priorities and milestones Identifies areas for improvement, enhancement, or growth at the task, team, and individual level Assigns and manages team workload, balancing mission needs, customer needs, and team member capacity. Responsible for identifying and mitigating over-subscription of team members in response to changing schedules and levels of engagement Responsible for adherence to deadlines, standard practices, training requirements and proper handling of sensitive information Provides feedback to management concerning team member status, accomplishments, and performance Manages or provides oversight to all team Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), Risks, Action Items and Open work Works to remove hurdles and roadblocks for new-hires, team members, management and customers Responsible for gathering and presenting relevant information to facilitate new-mission kick-off activities Ability to step in and provide support in the absence of other team members in technical or management level meetings Required Skills Experience managing remote teams Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / Project / Visio) Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills Project support experience including coordinating timelines, work assignments, meetings, and ensuring deliverables are completed on-time Desired Skills Experience supporting NASA missions, network or facilities Experience with Atlassian Suite (Confluence / Jira) Experience with SharePoint Experience generating level of effort estimates (LOEs), reviewing & validating LOEs, and tracking performance against generated LOEs Required Degree Bachelors of Science degree in technical field + 7 years of experience, or Masters of Science degree in technical discipline + 5 years of experience Security Clearance Requirements Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
