About the position

As a Senior Human System Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for providing integrated analysis, design, and assessment of requirements related to human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, safety, and occupational health. Your role will focus on optimizing human performance to enhance total system performance and reduce ownership costs, ensuring a comprehensive approach that includes both the technology and the human elements involved in system operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide integrated and comprehensive analysis of human factors engineering requirements.
  • Design and assess concepts and resources for manpower and personnel training.
  • Evaluate safety and occupational health standards in system design.
  • Optimize human performance to enhance total system performance.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve program outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in human systems integrations.
  • Experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, or electronic design.
  • Ability to analyze designs through review of design artifacts.
  • Ability to perform quantitative analyses.
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.

Nice-to-haves

  • 15+ years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
  • Knowledge of Navy acquisition processes.
  • Master's degree in an Engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
