About the position

The Human System Integration Engineer will support the Project Overmatch program by conducting comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment across various domains including manpower, personnel, training, human factors engineering, and more. This role is crucial for enhancing Command and Control capabilities for the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA, and requires a minimum of a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct integrated and comprehensive analysis of requirements, concepts, and resources across seven domains.
• Develop enterprise architecture using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML data structures.
• Manage system operations including software, hardware, and network within Naval IME.
• Create Science and Technology (S&T) roadmaps aligned with the Navy's Enterprise and Target Architecture.
• Analyze Acquisition Engineering documents for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) program lifecycles.
• Craft risk mitigation strategies based on Cyber Risk Assessments and Penetration Tests.
• Conduct independent cybersecurity assessments and document evaluations across acquisition phases.

Requirements

• BS in physical science, engineering, or math with 24 credit hours in science/engineering subjects.
• 5 years of experience in government R&D, Test & Evaluation (T&E), and systems acquisition.
• 4 years of relevant Human System Integration (HSI) engineering experience in at least 2 specified areas.
• Proficiency in human factors engineering to optimize system design and cost.
• Experience with test execution, evaluation, reporting, and presentation for Department of the Navy (DON) laboratory system tests.
