About the position
The position is focused on procurement processes for both indirect and direct operations at Hitachi Energy. The role involves sourcing goods and services, supplier selection, pricing negotiation, order processing, and contract administration. The candidate will also be responsible for analytics, reporting, and monitoring performance metrics, while collaborating closely with senior management and SCM teams to improve reporting processes and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, consolidate, and analyze month-end SCM KPIs reports.
- Work closely with senior management to define new analysis/reporting initiatives.
- Gather and analyze requirements with SCM teams to develop effective solutions.
- Manage SCMIS data for the business unit, ensuring data integrity and master data management.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI tools.
- Develop and maintain automated data processes for dashboard creation.
- Produce, implement, and improve reporting templates for the SCM community.
- Design and develop visual analytical models to identify trends.
- Monitor metrics results and report performance against targets to senior management.
- Provide coaching and training support for SCM teams on Power BI reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering/Science (Electrical/Mechanical).
- Proficient in Advanced MS Excel, including charts and dashboards.
- Proficient knowledge of the Power BI platform and SQL.
- Hands-on experience in data visualization concepts and dashboard design.
- Ability to independently extract and model data from various sources.
- Proven expertise in handling live data connections with different systems.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint for building and sustaining solutions.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to lead new challenges.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
