About the position

The HVAC Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing HVAC systems and products for a leading manufacturing company specializing in sustainable heating and cooling technologies. This permanent, full-time position involves collaborating with sales teams, providing technical training, and driving process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing HVAC hydronic systems that meet client needs.
• Collaborating with sales teams to provide technical expertise and support, helping to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Designing and executing thermomechanical projects to enhance HVAC systems.
• Identifying opportunities for HVAC improvements and implementing changes to increase efficiency and performance.
• Conducting technical training sessions for team members to ensure a thorough understanding of HVAC products and systems.
• Driving processing improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on HVAC products, providing guidance and advice to team members and customers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with HVAC hydronic systems.
• Commercial HVAC experience is a must.
• Experience in designing and executing thermomechanical projects.
• A proven track record in identifying and implementing HVAC improvements.
• Experience in supporting sales teams and providing technical training.
• Demonstrated ability in driving processing improvements.
• Expert knowledge of HVAC products, with the ability to serve as a subject matter expert.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
