About the position

The Branch Manager at Lennox National Account Services is responsible for overseeing the activities of employees engaged in maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial HVAC equipment. This role emphasizes safety, labor productivity, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and employee retention. The manager will also be involved in financial oversight, employee training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate activities of employees maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure safety, labor productivity, and efficiency in operations.
  • Oversee inventory management and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist employees in diagnosing commercial HVAC equipment issues.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals for services.
  • Review financial statements and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Requisition and maintain inventory of tools and materials.
  • Direct employees in dismantling, assembling, and installing equipment.
  • Interpret and communicate company policies to employees.
  • Inspect work areas and provide safety training to prevent unsafe conditions.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, assisting employees as needed.
  • Maintain time and production records.
  • Supervise a team of four to ten employees, including hiring, training, and performance appraisal.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HVAC industry technical knowledge preferred.
  • P&L Management experience with a successful track record preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally on a regular basis; occasional overnight travel required.
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds).
  • Computer skills; competent in MS Office software (Word and Excel).
  • Must achieve NATE certification in the first full year as Branch Manager.
  • EPA Certification: Type I and Type II or Universal.
