About The Position

The HVAC/Chiller Technician role at Flextek Resources LLC is focused on providing high-quality service, repair, and replacement of HVAC equipment, particularly in the commercial and industrial sectors. The technician will work under minimal supervision, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service. This position requires expertise in centrifugal chillers and involves both independent and team-based work to complete tasks effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technician experience with performing preventive maintenance, annuals, and service of centrifugal chillers.

Responsibilities

• Perform 10-year tear downs on centrifugal chillers.
• Service Carrier, Trane, York, and Daikin centrifugal chillers.
• Report for duty on time and ready to work at the assigned location.
• Respond accurately and timely to service requests.
• Submit reports and data for invoicing daily following company processes.
• Use tools and equipment safely while wearing proper PPE.
• Follow management directions for maintaining, servicing, repairing, or installing cooling tower and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with cooling towers and HVAC equipment.
• Work effectively alone and with a team to complete repairs safely and timely.
• Communicate clearly with customers and management regarding job status and repair strategies.
• Handle heavy equipment safely and request assistance when needed.
• Check work for errors and correct deficiencies accurately.
• Maintain technical knowledge of cooling towers and HVAC equipment.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Maintain a clean and orderly company vehicle.
• Keep a clean driving record.
