About the position

As an HVAC Field Lead with HealthTrust Facilities Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems across various healthcare settings. This position involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing industrial HVAC systems in both acute and non-acute care hospital environments. You will be responsible for conducting tests and analyzing data to ensure that all equipment functions properly, providing recommendations regarding remaining life expectancy, potential replacement and repair costs, and assessing business interruption risks. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining equipment according to HCA Healthcare Engineering standards, which is essential for minimizing revenue impact and ensuring operational efficiency. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will oversee HVAC Capital Reinvestment projects, ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle and performing final commissioning of the equipment. The role requires meticulous organization, as you will need to maintain accurate service and maintenance records using HCA Healthcare's computerized maintenance management system. Effective communication is key, as you will interact with patients, visitors, colleagues, and leadership, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all exchanges. Furthermore, you will be expected to train and mentor apprentices and fellow technicians, fostering a collaborative and educational environment. This position is not just about technical skills; it is about being part of a team that is dedicated to improving healthcare facilities and, ultimately, patient care. By joining HealthTrust Facilities Management, you will be part of an organization that values community involvement, as evidenced by our colleagues' investment of over 156,000 hours in volunteer work last year. We are committed to providing you with the tools and resources necessary for your success and growth within the organization.
