As an HVAC Field Technician with HealthTrust Facilities Management, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of industrial HVAC systems across various healthcare settings. This position involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing HVAC systems in both acute care and non-acute care hospital environments. Under the guidance of the Senior HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analyzing data to ensure that all equipment operates at optimal levels. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing business interruptions and enhancing the overall patient care experience. In this role, you will be expected to maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities. This includes performing coil cleanings, filter changes, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements, as well as conducting electrical safety inspections. You will also be required to read and comprehend blueprints, specifications, and operations manuals to execute your tasks effectively. Adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local safety guidelines is paramount, and you will document all work, equipment conditions, and labor time using HCA Healthcare's computerized maintenance management system. The ideal candidate for this position will be well-organized, possess strong communication skills, and be able to maintain accurate service and maintenance records. You will be expected to travel to various acute care hospitals and associated free-standing emergency departments within the division, making reliability and professionalism essential traits for success in this role.
