About the position

The HVAC Foreman is responsible for overseeing HVAC installation projects in the commercial sector, ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently from start to finish. This role involves collaborating with project managers, managing a crew of 4-5 installers, and working on various projects throughout the Kansas City metro area, including restaurants, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan projects.
• Review submittals and plans to ensure efficient job execution.
• Manage a crew of 4-5 HVAC installers.
• Install and remodel HVAC systems in commercial settings.
• Start up HVAC systems and ensure proper functioning.
• Work with owners and general contractors to meet project requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial HVAC installation.
• Ability to read and interpret submittals and plans.
• Strong leadership skills to oversee a team of installers.
• Experience in remodeling HVAC systems in commercial environments.
• Excellent communication skills for working with clients and contractors.
