About the position

The HVAC Installer is responsible for overseeing new construction HVAC projects from start to finish, including planning and execution. This role involves working closely with project managers and supervising a crew of 4-5 installers on various commercial projects throughout the Kansas City metro area, including restaurants, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and general commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Work with project managers to plan HVAC projects.
• Review submittals and plans to ensure efficient job execution.
• Supervise a crew of 4-5 HVAC installers.
• Install commercial HVAC systems and remodel existing systems.
• Start up HVAC systems and ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with owners and general contractors.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial HVAC installation.
• Ability to read and interpret submittals and plans.
• Proven experience in overseeing installation crews.
• Strong communication skills to work with project managers and contractors.
• Ability to work in various commercial settings.
