Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including ductwork and all associated components.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems as needed.
• Train and supervise junior staff and apprentices.
• Consult with customers on complaints and provide beneficial solutions.
• Test and balance HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations for residential and light commercial systems.
• Maintain safety standards while using tools and equipment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test upon conditional offer.
• Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems.
• Understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and troubleshooting of residential and light commercial systems.
• Exceptional safety knowledge of tools and testing devices.
• General knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems.
• Ability to identify and safely use basic hand and power tools of the trade.
• Willingness to invest in tools used in the HVAC trade.
• Comfortable working at heights with ladders and aerial equipment.
