About The Position

The HVAC / Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various locations owned by GPM Investments, including offices and retail sites such as convenience stores and fast food restaurants. This role requires a strong background in HVAC systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with store operations teams.

Requirements

• HVAC Certification
• 5+ years experience in HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid State Drivers License and clear driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Refrigeration experience HIGHLY preferred
• Additional experience and knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical, and general maintenance also HIGHLY preferred
• Ability to meet and deal tactfully & courteously with fellow employees, vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Determine material, equipment and supplies to be used on jobs
• Transfer equipment from one project to another as necessary
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in all area locations
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
• Reassemble and test equipment following repairs
• Discuss heating-cooling system malfunctions with the store operations team to isolate problems or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected
• Record and report all faults, deficiencies, unusual occurrences and repairs made
• Serve as backup in other areas of maintenance if needed and directed to by the Maintenance Manager.
