About the position

This is a sales position in the heating and cooling industry. PremierOne Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and marketer of indoor air quality solutions for the HVAC industry, headquartered in Wisconsin. We are searching for a career-minded, energetic, and organized sales professional to join our team as a Regional Account Manager for the Virginia/Maryland/Delaware Territory. The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for learning our full product line and understanding how it works in order to be a subject matter expert to their customers. After onboarding and training, they will be expected to maintain a full schedule of sales calls and training classes. This position will cover multiple states and will spend several nights on the road each month with most weekends at home. Coordinating travel and managing time will be one of the major responsibilities of this position. Travel and expenses are covered by the company as well as a phone and computer. The Regional Account Manager is responsible for developing their territory and everything that entails. The primary goals are increasing market share, supporting existing distribution, and bringing on new dealers. We do this by building relationships with the wholesalers and contractors in their market. Education is a big role in our sales process by partnering with wholesale territory managers, joining them on sales calls to their customers, and conducting training classes with them. The training we offer is a proprietary program to educate both distributors and dealers about PremierOne Products solutions and strategies. Our program focuses on the science behind indoor air quality, how our products work, and why there is such a great need for our products.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the full product line and become a subject matter expert for customers.
  • Maintain a full schedule of sales calls and training classes.
  • Develop the assigned territory to increase market share.
  • Support existing distribution and bring on new dealers.
  • Build relationships with wholesalers and contractors in the market.
  • Conduct training classes for distributors and dealers about PremierOne Products solutions and strategies.
  • Coordinate travel and manage time effectively.

Requirements

  • Heating and Cooling industry experience is REQUIRED.
  • Wholesale sales experience or sales and account management experience is required.
  • Must be willing to travel domestically Monday - Friday but will be home MOST weekends.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient in time and travel management.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in wholesale sales (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in sales (3 years required).
  • Experience in the HVAC industry (1 year required).
