About the position

The HVAC Operations Manager will oversee a team of skilled trades personnel responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a goal-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage operations effectively to ensure client satisfaction and maximize profits.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and support the service technician staff, including hiring, termination, discipline, technical guidance and performance evaluation.
• Monitor the scheduling of technicians, evaluate workload, direct work assignments and adapt work priorities to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Lead by example through the prioritization of working safely.
• Initiate and maintain client liaison to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee the process of ordering and receiving materials and equipment for scheduled jobs.
• Engage daily in the established work order process to ensure work order accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and present quotes for add-on/replacement of equipment.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in HVAC operations management or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
