As a Mechanical Project Sales Engineer at Cox-Powell Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our mechanical project sales initiatives. This position is designed for individuals who are ready to elevate their careers by engaging with both new and existing customers to foster strong relationships and deliver exceptional service. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting, qualifying, proposing, designing, and selling a variety of mechanical projects and services, including HVAC/R systems, air distribution system cleaning, air balancing, thermography, energy solutions, and indoor air quality improvements. You will collaborate closely with our Sales Team and Operations group to ensure that each project is executed successfully, meeting the high standards that our clients expect from us. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC technologies to survey building systems, interpret technical drawings, and assess the condition of equipment. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities for repair, replacement, or modification of existing systems, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs. Your technical expertise will also extend to understanding mechanical, electrical, wiring, and automatic control systems, allowing you to interpret job conditions and foresee potential issues that may arise during project execution.
