About the position

The HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning units in the Kuparuk Field Support Services. This role requires collaboration with other trades and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The technician must possess strong troubleshooting skills and ensure compliance with safety protocols while working in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain commercial laundry equipment.
• Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment.
• Repair and maintain soda dispensing equipment.
• Repair and maintain ice making equipment.
• Repair and maintain boilers.
• Repair and maintain air handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain DDC controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Utilize MS Office at a user level.
• Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8) years' experience in the HVAC field as a certified Type I and Type II Technician or a certified Universal Technician.
• EPA Section 608 HVAC Type I and Type II certifications or a Universal certification is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification.
