About the position
The HVAC Residential Installer at BGIS is responsible for fabricating and installing fiberglass and metal duct systems, as well as associated mechanical equipment, in compliance with the Florida Mechanical Code. This role requires proficiency in installing, wiring, and starting up residential and commercial HVAC systems, including split systems and packaged units. The position emphasizes safety, professionalism, and teamwork while providing opportunities for career development and training.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install fiberglass/metal duct systems and associated mechanical equipment according to the Florida Mechanical Code.
- Install, wire, and start up residential and commercial split systems and packaged units.
- Work safely while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a neat appearance and professional company image.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with HVAC installation.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening check.
- Own tools necessary for the job.
- Understanding of residential HVAC units.
