About the position

As an HVAC Sales Manager at Len The Plumber Heating & Air, you will play a crucial role in driving HVAC installation revenue growth, managing our sales team, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. This position is pivotal in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), fostering a high-performance culture, and contributing to the overall success of our business. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives and sales support staff, setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations. Collaboration and teamwork among the sales staff, service department, and installation department will be essential to your success. In addition to team management, you will develop and execute sales plans aimed at achieving revenue and gross profit targets. Identifying growth opportunities within the residential HVAC market and implementing market-specific strategies to maximize these opportunities will be key components of your role. You will monitor and track KPIs related to sales performance, such as conversion rates, average deal size, and lead generation, and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet or exceed targets. You will also establish and maintain consistent sales processes that align with our platform strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and efficiency. Analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback will be part of your responsibilities, using insights to refine strategies, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions. Collaborating with senior management to set revenue and profit targets and developing plans to achieve these financial goals will round out your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record in sales management in the home improvement industry, preferably HVAC.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools including CRM & Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Committed to developing people and building culture.
  • Results-oriented and driven by achieving targets.
