About the position

The HVAC Sales and Operations Manager will oversee the sales team and ensure the efficient operation of HVAC services for a leading importer and distributor of plumbing and heating products. This role involves developing strategies to meet revenue targets, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth in a full-time capacity based in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring optimal service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Create and execute sales strategies to capture new business, expand existing customer relationships, and enter new markets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities while managing current accounts to grow their business.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that promote HVAC products and services.
  • Attend sales meetings with management to review performance, challenges, and new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a related field
  • 3+ years in a management role
  • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and operational tools.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a drug test
