About The Position

Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is looking to hire an experienced Sales Consultant to profitably sell HVAC equipment for our rapidly growing company. You must have experience closing deals in the $10-50,000 range and aren't afraid of selling big ticket items to customers. If you've not done this before, it may not be the job for you as we expect results right out of the gate. We also expect that you're decently tech savvy and know how to work a smartphone, iPad, and industry dispatch software.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent is required. A two or four year degree is preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience in HVAC, solar or construction sales, with knowledge of HVAC equipment, design installation, piping and venting.
• BPI Certification is desirable.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Proficiency using personal computers and standard business software is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Produce business growth by profitably selling HVAC products and services, either through customer leads
• Perform load calculations and other technical requirements in support of equipment recommendations and utility rebate requirements. *This can be taught!
• Process sales agreements and job paperwork, including permits for jobs and utility rebates.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services offered.
• When needed, coordinate with customers regarding job scheduling and payment.
• Recommend and sell products and services where appropriate.
• Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions.
• Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.
