About the position

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential environments. This role requires technical expertise in handling various HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service. The technician will also be involved in plumbing and electrical work related to HVAC systems, and must be capable of managing heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and compliance records 100% of the time
• Provide quality customer satisfaction to all customers and business contacts
• Perform daily inspection of Company vehicle and report results to Service Coordinator
• Attend all applicable Company provided in-house and out-source training, as well as job related training and informational seminars as requested
• Exchange trade related knowledge and information with all employees
• Report to work as scheduled, with minimal absenteeism and tardiness, work overtime as necessary, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Perform other job-related activities and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• CETP qualifications - if not currently certified will need to obtain within 1 year of employment and maintain these certifications
• EPA Refrigerant certification - if not currently certified will need to obtain within 1 year of employment and maintain these certifications
• Prefer minimum of 2 years' experience as an HVAC Service Technician and/or completed MEP HVAC Apprenticeship
• Successful completion of a pre-employment functional evaluation and drug screening
• Possess a valid driver's license
