About the position

The HVAC Systems Product Management Engineer role at Trane Technologies is a leadership development opportunity designed to prepare individuals for future leadership roles in Product Management. This position involves a structured rotational program that includes experiences in customer-facing sales processes, pricing analysis, system design, and the development of future product requirements. The role begins with the Graduate Training Program and rotates through various assignments, providing a comprehensive understanding of Trane's Chiller business and the commercial HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth technical product, systems, applications and strategic sales support for Trane's chiller products.
  • Author technical materials and customer presentations to aid sales effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver training on TRACE 3D Plus and other Trane system evaluation tools.
  • Execute marketing communication promoting sustainability, efficiency, and reliability in HVAC systems.
  • Advise on Trane's leadership in electrification and decarbonization of HVAC systems.
  • Travel to sales offices, corporate events, and customer sites for presentations and discussions.
  • Understand competitors' products and strategies and communicate insights effectively.
  • Participate and lead price analysis on projects and assist in bid strategies.
  • Perform technical analysis including building energy studies for strategic insights.
  • Lead projects related to new product development and improve sales tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Successfully complete the Trane Graduate Training Program.
