The Facility Services Group specializes in facility solutions, building systems integration, specialized construction, and facility management. Our team provides best-in-class operational solutions with technical knowledge and subject matter experts of building systems, envelopes, campus, and client operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, installs, repairs, maintains, and troubleshoots HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Trouble-shoot controls and power electrical systems.
  • Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, and primary control components.
  • Trouble-shoot primary electronic systems using ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Make new installation wiring hook-ups and upgrade present equipment as needed.
  • Assemble, inspect, adjust, repair, or replace faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic and electrical devices.
  • Perform mechanical operations, repair, and maintenance to building systems including automatic transfer switches, UPS/battery storage, emergency generators, and photovoltaic systems.
  • Interpret and understand Federal, State and local code ordinances.
  • Work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Refrigeration System Operating Engineer Certification.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications for sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, EPS and boiler systems preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a commercial setting.
