About the position
This position is for a licensed HVAC technician to complete the installation of a natural gas furnace in Mechanicsburg, PA. The technician will be responsible for connecting various components of the furnace and ensuring it is set up correctly according to the installer manual. The job requires specific technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly in gas furnace installations.
Responsibilities
- Connect existing gas line
- Connect existing intake/exhaust PVC piping
- Install condensation drain and connect to existing A/C evaporator coil condensation drain
- Check electrical connections
- Check thermostat wiring connections
- Set up thermostat with required settings for a 2-stage furnace
- Run necessary tests to complete setup per installer manual instructions
- Sign warranty paperwork for the furnace
Requirements
- Licensed HVAC technician
- Experience with natural gas furnace installations
- Ability to read and follow installation manuals
- Knowledge of electrical and thermostat wiring connections
