About the position

Total Comfort Group is a leading national provider of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Project Management services throughout the United States. Our focus is on retail and commercial multi-site properties Nationwide. We are looking for HVAC/R Service Technicians responsible for providing HVAC services, identifying repair and/or replacement needs, as well as installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC services including installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Identify repair and/or replacement needs for HVAC systems.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and job site including site preparation and clean up.
• Adhere to attendance policy with willingness to work additional hours as needed.
• Work cooperatively with others and independently with little direction.
• Handle a large vehicle competently including parking and backing up in tight spaces.
• Learn and understand time constraints associated with specific repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• Graduate of an HVAC technical institute or school.
• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems (1-50 Tons), Commercial Refrigeration, Boilers (gas and oil-fired), Electrical Troubleshooting, and/or Digital Controls.
• Basic record-keeping techniques utilizing web-based applications on a mobile device.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
