About the position

Native Energy & Technology, Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team, focusing on preventative maintenance and repairs in federal government buildings. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems across various locations, including Bellingham, Spokane, and Cour d'Alene. The position requires local daily travel between job sites, and a company vehicle will be provided to facilitate this travel. Candidates must possess a Universal Certificate and be prepared to undergo federal and state background investigations, as well as maintain a clean driving record to access job sites. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC equipment. This includes working with gas and electric furnaces, ductless heating and cooling systems, VRV and VRF systems, packaged HVAC equipment, water boilers, circulator pumps, ventilation fans, temperature controls, and humidifiers. Your expertise will be crucial in recognizing and addressing unit deficiencies to ensure optimal performance and comfort in the facilities we service. Responsibilities

  • Performing Preventive Maintenance such as routine changing of air and water filters
  • Performing general facility maintenance tasks
  • Recognizing, troubleshooting, and repairing unit deficiencies in HVAC equipment, including but not limited to gas and electric furnaces, ductless heating and cooling systems, VRV and VRF heating and cooling systems, packaged gas or electric HVAC equipment, water boilers, circulator pumps, ventilation fans, temperature controls, and humidifiers.

Requirements

  • Universal Certificate required
  • 2 to 20+ years of experience in HVAC
  • Clean driving record for access to job sites
  • Ability to pass federal and state background investigations
