About the position
The HVAC Technician position involves supporting HVAC systems through troubleshooting and resolving customer issues as part of the commissioning team. The role requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, along with the ability to use hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned system commissioning using company configuration and commissioning tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems
- Respond to basic warranty calls
- Load system-level controller software
- Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- At least 2 years of HVAC experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control issues
- Able to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws, etc.)
- Basic computer skills required
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication and listening skills
