About the position

The HVAC Technician role at Aerotek involves providing skilled service and installation for HVAC/R and commercial HVAC systems across various locations, primarily from Chicago to the northern suburbs. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of HVAC systems, requiring both technical expertise and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC service and installation across various locations.
• Conduct visual inspections of HVAC systems and components.
• Lift and move equipment and materials as needed, including weights up to 100 pounds.
• Work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in HVAC/R and commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Proficiency in performing HVAC service and installation tasks.
